Morning Carline Procedures

• Morning carline begins at 7:20 a.m.
• Please be alert and do not use cell phones in the carline.
• For the morning carline, drivers can enter any of the 4 lanes of the service road. (Afternoon carline has assigned lanes based on grade level)
• Kinder carline only includes the 2 lanes on the café side.
• PLEASE FILL BOTH LANES in order to keep traffic off of CR32.
• Gather lunch boxes, bookbags, and other school items while waiting.
• Go ahead and get those ‘I love you’s”, hugs, and high fives.
• This will help students exit vehicles promptly.
• Once cars are in the unloading zone, students may exit the vehicle. Students do not need to wait for a staff member to open the door.
• For safety reasons and visibility, please have students exit on the passenger side.
• Please unload in a quick and safe manner.
• Follow all directions of the staff members on duty and of the crossing guard.

Afternoon Carline Procedures

• Afternoon carline begins at 2:50 p.m. for grades 1-6.
• Kinder carline begins soon after.
• Carline numbers should be displayed from the rear-view mirrors.
• Once loaded, remove the number.
• Please be alert and do not use cell phones in carline.
• Lanes 1 and 2 off the service road are for students in grades 1-3 and their older     
• grade siblings. Lanes 3 and 4 are for students in grades 4-6.
• Kindergarten carline only includes the 2 lanes on the café side.
• PLEASE FILL BOTH CAR LANES in order to keep traffic off of CR32.
• Kindergarten students should practice loading and buckling.
• Follow all directions of the staff members on duty and of the crossing guard.

Background Investigation Bureau (BIB)

The Baldwin County Board of Education has entered into a contract with a company called BIB to conduct background clearances for our volunteers.  Secure Volunteer is an easy-to-use online system created to help school systems manage volunteer screening.  This service is provided at no cost to the Board as the volunteer pays the screening cost.  This will be a much less expensive and much easier process for volunteers to obtain background clearance.

The Baldwin County Public School System is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment in which all members of the school community are treated with respect.  Consequently, bullying, violence, and threats of violence, and intimidation are prohibited and constitute unacceptable behavior that will not be tolerated. 

To ensure that no student is subjected to bullying, violence, threats of violence, or intimidation by any other student, the Baldwin County Board of Education passed the Jamari Terrell Williams Student Bullying Policy.  As stipulated in the policy, the Baldwin County Public School System is opposed to and prohibits, without qualification, unlawful bullying based on real or perceived race, sex, religion, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.
