The tryouts for Newton's spring musical Disney's High School Musical Jr. is complete and the cast has been selected.    Practices have begun and are going well.  The production is scheduled for Tuesday, March 16, beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m. in our school gym.  Assistant Principal Hendon Brunson is producing the musical and is assisted by many of our faculty and staff members.   Over 120 students will be directly involved in this exciting major musical review!

A day show will be held for students and limited adults and an evening performance will be for everyone in our community.  There will also be a Final Dress Rehearsal/Performance that tickets may be purchased to attend on Monday, March 15, at 6:00 p.m.  Because we expect a sell out performance, you are encouraged to purchase your tickets ahead.

• Student pre-sell tickets are now on sale for $3 and will include admission for both the day and evening shows.  Student tickets sold after the close of the workday March 12 will cost $4 each.
• Adult pre-sell tickets for the day and/or evening show are also now on sale.  Adult pre-sell tickets will be $5 per show.  Adult tickets sold after the close of the workday March 12 will cost $6 each.

Seating will be limited and will be on a first come - first served basis.  The doors will open on March 16, at 5:00 p.m. We look forward to having you with us to enjoy a Broadway experience right here in our school.
