A Newton School fifth grader, was honored at the Farm-City Awards banquet April 20, 2009, in Birmingham. She qualified for this state honor after winning the Baldwin County poster contest sponsored by the Farm City Committee.  Her poster will be featured as one of the months in the 2010 Farm-City calendar.  She is pictured with Paul Till, Farm-City Committee of Alabama Chairman, and Jerry Newby, Alabama Farmers Federation President.
